While at Huntington Surf and Sport a local shaper from a new company called Art In Motion walked in dripping wet telling everyone about his new surfboard. There are a lot of garage shapers that are aspiring to be the next Tyler Hatzikain living the life. A lot of the time the boards look very similar to other models or obviously amateur. Todd of AIM had a board that had the nose about 18″ with the outline of a pig. The hips where pulled back and tail of the board must of been 18″ with a 10″-12″.
This board was different / extreme enough that I had to get a photo and share it with you guys. Todd was super stoked on the board and wanted to share it with everyone at HSS. He was a cool guy who said his website would be up soon. Enjoy the photo.

Art In Motion- I have had the opportunity to meet Todd M. at Blackies a couple of months ago. Great guy, super stoked with more passion than I have ever seen come out of a shaper. He is way cool with letting his boards be surfed in which I took out a couple of the different models. As you see and read the design is a little backwards but the boards work great! Great trim, great sability when in the pocket but snaps out when needed for that big Knost move, the stepping ability is great as well, to the nose with ease. I will be ordering one of these from him before more people catch on and that will drive the price up.
Thanks for reading and promote the local shapers!!!
Awesome! Every wave, every time, every surf spot, all the time!!
Wide Tale Pig…I’m totally stoked.
