Did you say twin-fin? The Weber swallow tail series of the 1970’s produced three models; the Fish, the Swish, and the Swallow Tail. The Fish was short and wide. The Swallow Tail was slim and sleek. The Swish is the perfect combination of the two. Most importantly, the soft, curved innermost part of the vee bottom for control, staying power, and thrust. A split tail board that will increase your performance in any type of surf. Available from 5’0” – 7”0”.

Dewey designed this single fin as the perfect retro shortboard. In fact, almost every original Easy Rider made in the 70’s was shaped by Dewey. With its width, this board will give you great flotation in a shorter board and would be perfect at a racy beach break. Made primarily as a sand finish, this board is light and playful. Size range: 5’8” – 6’8”.

Feather Fastback A transition shape, designed by Dewey and Nat Young in the early 70’s, the Feather Fastback is a single fin pintail built for speed in the pocket and large carving cutbacks. This shape offers the versatility and maneuverability of a shortboard with the trim, glide, and paddling speed of a longboard. A great board for long hollow point breaks and reef passes. Available from 6’6” – 7’10”.

Take a radical approach to your progressive longboarding. Dewey created the Strato Series in the late 60’s to encompass the ever changing environment of progressive surfboard design. The “Strato” is not one surfboard design, but several high performance designs geared toward the progressive longboarder. We understand that different regions require slightly different equipment, which is why we offer the Strato HI (Hawaii), Strato CA (California), and Strato EC (East Coast). Although these boards share similarities, there are subtle differences that help these boards work better in their specific territories. These models are built for speed. The 3 fin set-up allows the rider to tune the board to most wave conditions. THIS BOARD CAN HANDLE THE BIG STUFF!

We introduced the “Tri-Fin” longboard in 1979 with three 12” fin boxes. We have taken that original design, tweaked and refined it, and the finished product is the perfect combination of progressive and traditional. With added rail edge in this pintail, you have more bite and a shorter turning radius. The traditional outline of the Quantum lends itself to noseriding, and it handles well in both small and large waves.
