Fineline HPNR

Fineline HPNR

The High Performance Nose Rider In that order The “twin tip” rocker makes for easily made steep drops, a whippy turn off the tail, and a central flat for trim. Narrow for a sensitive rail to rail feel. Unlike many high performance boards, this one is very walkable- used with a big single fin, this board can ride fairly classic, with good nose time. Use it as a 3 fin, and it’s a great beach break rider- the down rail and tail kick let you stay on the rear all day.

The HPNR 3 A floatier, wider version with the same rocker. This is the easiest to ride longboard that I make.

Both models size from 7”10 to 9’10.

A typical 9’2 HPNR-1 runs 18 1/2 x 22 1/4 x 14 1/2 x 3 Includes a tri-fin set-up.r fin. Shown here with a 10” Slick.

Fineline The Avenger

Fineline The Avenger

A bona fide high performance pig.

A long, deep entry rocker that just begs to catch waves, a three dimensional tail kick that either pivots or carves tight turns, and a blunt 50/50 rail in between that trims high and tight beyond belief.

The “s” deck lowers front end swing weight for very whippy turns, while a super subtle flat spot stabilizes the spoon nose for right-place-right-time noserides.

The board shown is a 9’1″:
16 3/4 X 21 7/8 X 15 1/2 x 3″

Sizes range from 8’11″ to 9’9″

Glassed with Volan for strength and stability, and comes with a high rake fin of my choice based on the size of the board, usually a Velzy classic 10.0″.

Fineline THE ANT

Fineline THE ANT

The Ant is a true pig templated, highly
foiled trim monster.
A super subtle concave stabilizes the narrow nose just enough for right-place right-time noserides without interfering with a whippy sensitivity.
Super punchy off the tail, it trims high and tight like no other longboard I make, except for its stepbrother The Avenger.

Sizes run from 9’9″ all the way down to 8’5″, where it passes off the trim torch to the Microant.

The board shown here is 9’5″ at:
17 X 22 1/4 x 15 1/2 x 3 1/8

I’m working on a dedicated high rake fin but for now it works great with a Nat Young 9.5, Greenough 4A or 4C, or my favorite a Velzy Classic 10.0

Fineline Single Fin

Fineline Single Fin

Single fins pivot like no other fin arrangement. I’ve used this advantage to make a really manuverable small-to- medium-size wave monster.

This isn’t really a “retro” style board, but it has a rocker and thickness distribution that helps a single do what it does.

Pictured here is a 5”8, 14 3/4 X 20 X 15 7/8 X 2 1/2

Comes with a high rake
Greenough 4A 8” fin.

Fineline Single Fin Pin Wing

Fineline Single Fin Pin Wing

Not to be confused with early “70s aloha madness coffin streakers, this board is based on 1978-1980 singles, tuned down in thickness to modern sensibilities, tuned up in rocker, with a double-ender template. Come 6’0 to 7’0-plus.

Pictured is a 6’8:
14 1/4 X 20 1/4 X 14 X 2 5/8

Like all good singles, it has a very smooth and predictable feel in both turns and trim. Don’t be afraid of a lot of fin- I recommend an 8.5 L-Flex, 8.0 Greenough 4A, or the wide base L-Flex 9.0B. As always, move it around! It Makes a difference. This template also makes an evil six-channel!

Fineline Der Uberflaven

Fineline Der Uberflaven

Das Uberevil.
Das Uberfast.
Das Uberfun.
Das ist Der Uberflaven.

A true fish with a lot of modern twists, it rides slope-y, small mushy surf as well as hollow stuff, and unlike its older style bethren it can and does go vertical as well as horizontal.

Has the Bad Acid Bottom, the modified double concave tip to tail bottom contour that makes the wide template very easy to ride rail to rail, with a slot wing to loosen the water’s beastly grip on the tail.

Fast no matter what, ride it with the dedicated quad fins for smooth power arcs, or as a twin fin for pivot power.

Typical Dimensions at 5’8”: 17 X 20 7/8 X 16 1/2 X 2 1/2

This board is normally rockered to ride really short, 5’6 to 6’0. Comes with Brom template modified keel main fins and custom one plug FCS quad helpers.

No retro shit. Sand only lightweight glass job.
